SEN WELLNESS HOUSE
Himalayan singing bowls played live. Lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound work.

SOUND & FREQUENCY
Sound healing uses Himalayan singing bowls to create slow, resonant tones. You lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound do its work.
There is nothing to do during a session but rest and listen. The bowls produce slow, sustained tones that settle the mind in a way that is hard to reach through ordinary effort. Most guests leave with the shoulders and jaw loose, the head quiet, and sleep easier to find that night.
Sessions are held inside our Himalayan salt room, adding the benefits of the salt environment to the sound. Each session is one on one, so the hour is shaped around how your body responds.
WHY SOUND HEALING
Our other services work on the body through hands and products. Sound works through vibration, and it asks nothing of you in return.
There is no posture to hold, no breathing to follow, and nothing to concentrate on. The tones carry you into rest while you lie still, which is how most guests reach a depth of calm that is hard to find on their own.
The vibration travels through the body rather than stopping at the skin, so the release is not limited to where hands can reach. Tightness in the jaw, shoulders, and back tends to let go on its own.
A single session often changes how the next few days feel. Sleep comes more easily, the mind is less crowded, and small stresses land more softly. With regular sessions, that steadiness becomes easier to return to.
No oils, no products, and no physical touch at any point. You stay fully clothed on a mat in the salt room, so the salt air works alongside the sound and you can return to your day right after.
THE SCIENCE
Sound reaches the body as well as the ears. The body itself is a rhythmic system of breath, pulse, and brainwaves, all moving in subtle patterns that shift throughout the day. When these rhythms become rushed or fragmented, we experience tension, fatigue, or mental noise.
Himalayan singing bowls produce long, sustained tones that help restore a sense of coherence within this system. As the sound unfolds, the body responds instinctively, settling without effort. Over time, many people find that this kind of calm carries beyond the session and into daily life.
The human body is composed largely of water, and water carries vibration with remarkable ease. Because of this, when a singing bowl is played, the sound does not stop at the ears. As the tones travel through the room, they also move through the body itself, passing gently through tissue, fluid, and bone rather than stopping at the surface of the skin.
These vibrations unfold slowly and continuously, encouraging the body's natural rhythms to soften and reorganize. Muscles release their tension, breathing becomes deeper and more spacious, and a quiet steadiness gradually settles in. The body responds in its own time to a coherent field of sound.
Most of us move through the day carrying more tension than we realize. Our minds often remain in fast, active brainwave patterns known as beta, the state associated with thinking, problem-solving, and constant activity. As the steady rhythm of the bowls unfolds, the mind is gradually guided into slower brainwave states such as alpha and theta, rhythms associated with relaxation, creativity, and deep restorative rest.
What follows is conscious rest, a place where the body can relax deeply while the mind remains quietly aware. With regular practice, returning to this state becomes increasingly natural, even outside the session.
ABOUT THE PRACTICE
You lie down on a comfortable mat in the salt room while the bowls are played live around you. At times a bowl may rest on a blanket over the body, so you feel the vibration as well as hear it. Blankets and eye pillows are provided.
There is nothing you need to do. No meditating, no controlling your thoughts. Most guests close their eyes and let the sound unfold as breathing slows and the body settles into rest. Some drift close to sleep, others stay gently aware.
Every session feels a little different. A single one can shift how you feel for days, and with regular practice the rest becomes deeper and easier to reach.

THE INSTRUMENTS
The bowls used at Sen are crafted using an ancient Nepalese tradition. Each one is a distinct instrument, known for a richness and resonance that ordinary bowls rarely achieve.
Layered. Complex. Resonant.
Copper, tin, iron, lead, gold, silver, and mercury. Each metal contributes to the depth and texture of the sound.
Handmade. One at a time.
Crafted one at a time using techniques passed down across generations. Each bowl is a distinct instrument.
Ritual. Intention. Craft.
Crafted on full moon nights, a practice believed to enhance the resonance and quality of the finished bowl.
Slow. Layered. Full.
Known for a resonance that carries far longer than ordinary bowls, filling the room gradually and completely.
THE WELCOME RITUAL
Sound scanning is played on traditional Himalayan metal singing bowls rather than the crystal bowls found in most modern sound baths. These bowls are known for their rich, layered tones and the deep, resonant vibrations they carry.
As you settle into the salt room, the bowl is gently played and moved around the body. There is no physical touch at any point. You simply rest as the sound shifts around you and soft vibrations move through the air, easing everyday tension and preparing the body for deeper rest.
This brief welcome ritual runs about five to six minutes within each salt room session and offers a first taste of the full Himalayan Sound Healing Session, where layered tones and vibrations settle the room over a longer, deeper hour.
